Top 5 Bath & Body Works Fragrances of ALL TIME!

I've been going into Bath & Body Works for as long as I can remember. My sister and I often went with each other and spent countless hours just smelling everything! Don't even get me started on the damage we'd do going in during the Semi-Annual sale. One of my fondest memories was driving home from the mall with my sister after we hit up Bath & Body Works and drained our wallets--we stopped at a red light and my sister asked me to take the items she bought out of the bag for her to smell before the light turned green again.

Because I've been pretty much obsessed with this company for most of my life, there are certain fragrances that I return to time and time again. So, whether you're looking for something new to try, you're curious in what my favorites are, or you're in another country just longing after what you can't get your hands on... I present to you my Top 5 Bath & Body Works Fragrances of ALL TIME! (Picture-heavy, so click through to see if your favorites made the cut!)

Are you making these skincare mistakes?

Are you making any of these mistakes? | mascarawarrior.com

When it comes to perfecting your skincare routine, there is a lot of trial and error. The main idea is not only to pamper, but to protect. There are plenty of skincare faux pas floating around on the internet, and sometimes it's hard to know what is actually good for your skin.

I don't mean to sound superior when it comes to skin care. I've definitely made some mistakes in my day. One of my darkest skincare moments was a time in which I washed my face in a public bathroom with that foaming soap from the dispenser on the wall just because I thought my face felt oily and dirty. What's even more shameless is that I've done that more than once. How embarrassing is that? (To be fair-I was a freshman. That explains it, right?)

Since then, I've made more of an effort to learn how to care for my skin better as well as the science behind skincare itself. So, for this blog post, I decided to tackle three skincare mistakes you're probably guilty of making as well as how to fix them.

Little Black Bag Unboxing!

I was inspired by the lovely Elle Fowler (of Dreaming in Blush) to make an order from Little Black Bag, a flash sale/social shopping fashion website, ever since she posted her What's In My Little Black Bag? Summer Edition video. I was excited to receive my order, but I was a little less than impressed with the condition that some of the things arrived in.

Crabtree & Evelyn haul!

I had the greatest time out with my mother yesterday. We went downtown and spent the day browsing through stores and having great conversations! She suggested that we pop into a shop called Crabtree & Evelyn, which I had never heard of. She mentioned that it was a relatively exclusive bath and body product store, which I was totally okay with looking around in.

And, of course, we ended up picking up a few little things.

Packin' Trash: Thayers', Bath and Body Works, Yes to Cucumbers

Bonus toe. You're welcome.
I've been hoarding some trash for a while, and with moving home this weekend, I decided that I should get rid of as much as I could. Here's what I finished over the semester!

Drugstore Skincare Haul + Review!

I recently picked up a couple of items from the drugstore for my face. Here's what I got!

Freeman's Avocado and Oatmeal Facial Clay Mask. I got this because I've been breaking out like crazy lately, and so far I love it. This is the first clay mask that I've ever used. It leaves my skin really soft, and after only two uses I can already see an improvement in my skin.

Freeman's Pineapple Facial Enzyme Mask. I actually ordered this long before my skin broke out as badly as it did. My only problem was tired, dull-looking skin and hyperpigmentation. This mask has AHAs, which I've read are a great, gentle exfoliant and can improve the quality of the skin. I will do a review with my findings, if anyone's interested!

Ocean Potion Face Sunscreen SPF 45. I've read that moisturizers with SPF don't give the greatest protection from the sun, so I've been looking for a good sunscreen. I've been using this in addition to my moisturizer without SPF in the mornings before putting on the rest of my makeup. It doesn't get greasy at all, and my makeup layers nicely with it. I'm looking forward to using the rest of this up! The only downside is that it's in a jar, which is a little inconvenient for daily use, but it's not terrible.

Pond's Cold Cream. I got this because I'm running out of my eye makeup remover and was looking for a cleanser. I've used this before, but I'm not too fond of the reformulation. It's much greasier than I remember. However, I still feel really glamorous in a 1940s sort of way when I sit down at my vanity to take my makeup off before going into the bathroom to wipe if off my face with a warm wash cloth (and put on a mask!). It's a nice, luxurious way to get ready for bed that I quite enjoy.

Anyway, that's what I've gotten recently! Add anything new to your skincare routine recently?
