Five Minute Makeup!

Some days, you just don't want to fuss with a lot of makeup. All you want is a basic, fool-proof look that you can do in five minutes before sprinting off to your 11 AM literature class because you don't want to look like you just rolled out of bed, although you probably just did. (Oh, wait. Just me?) In any case, this is the five-minute, foolproof makeup I employ on a daily basis... probably because I'm always running late. Whoops!

My Tea Collection! (The Obsession Continues.)

If you know me in person, then you're probably rolling your eyes at the fact that I made this blog post. And you know what? I don't blame you.

It's no secret that I'm obsessed with tea. My friends and family like to make fun of me because I will probably never drink everything I had even if I tried. But you know what? There are different teas for different scenarios--you definitely don't want to have one all-purpose tea. Would you really want to relax before bed with a caffeinated cup of tea, or try to wake yourself up in the morning with a soothing bedtime  tea? What if you want to settle your stomach? You probably wouldn't want something crazy-flavored, would you? Of course you wouldn't.

Yes, I know I have a lot of tea. I have more tea now than I could probably ever use in my entire lifetime, and I have more than I did a year ago. I know I have a severe problem. However, I'm sure there are people out there with more than I have. Let's all just get along for a second and admire the pretty pictures I took of my tea collection, conveniently broken up into categories. (You're welcome?)

Top Netflix Picks!

Though I'm embarrassed to admit it, Netflix is one of my favorite things. One of the best things you can do for yourself is to have a cozy night in watching your favorite shows. It can be a little overwhelming at times, however, because there are so many different things you can watch. If you ever find yourself wondering what to watch on Netflix, you've come to the right place. Here are some good things to watch next time you're feeling uninspired:

Drugstore Makeup Haul!

Hello, friends! As I've gathered up my belongings to go back to school (my final semester of college! I can't believe it), I realized that I've accumulated a good number of new makeup items over the break. I've been meaning to try new things recently, and these have all been great additions to my collection. Here's what I picked up:

DIY Gentle Foaming Brush Cleanser

I'm a really lazy person. Like, really really lazy. Even if I know of something that would benefit me if I did it, I'll still put if off for as long as I possibly can for no apparent reason. So, if you're anything like me, then you procrastinate as much as you can when it comes to cleaning your makeup brushes.

It's okay - we all do it. It's really not any fun to do, it takes forever, and your brushes are just going to get dirty again. Who cares if your blending brush has too much eyeshadow on it? It'll just make defining your crease or blending out your smokey eye easier. Too lazy to wash your foundation brush, but you know you'll break out if you go too long? It's cool, you can still totally cover up any blemishes with more makeup.

Right? Wrong.

December Beauty Favorites {2013}

Hello, friends! Well, here we are... a week and a half into 2014 already. Time really gets away from you when you're not looking! Which totally explains why I'm late to the party with posting last month's favorites. If you're curious as to what my beauty essentials were in December, keep on reading!

A Tale of Lost Love: TheBalm's Mary Lou-Manizer

Once upon a time, a long, long time ago... I went to Marshall's. (And by a "long, long time," I mean maybe a year and a half ago, tops.)

As I perused the beauty section, not expecting to find anything even remotely interesting among the smashed-up boxes and grubby messes that people tend to make, I saw a makeup kit with some really, really cute art on it. And that's when I first fell in love with TheBalm

Best Winter Scents from Bath & Body Works!

Hello, friends!

It's come to my attention that one of my most popular posts on this blog is about my Top 5 Bath and Body Works scent choices of all time. The majority of my traffic comes from people searching for the best scents from Bath and Body Works! That's exciting. However, since most of the scents listed in that post aren't very season appropriate, I decided to make another list of favorites--featuring my top five Bath and Body Works winter fragrances! Here they are:

13 Things I Did in 2013 ☆

A lot of crazy things are going to go down in 2014. I'm going to graduate college, leave all the friends I've made, hopefully get a big girl job and my own apartment and start a life on my own. But before all the madness happens in May, I'd like to take some time to reflect on how wonderful 2013 was for me. So, without further ado, here are 13 things I did in 2013:
