The Saturday Face

the saturday face products Saturdays are my favorite days of the week. You can get up early with a cup of coffee and watch the sun rise on the deck, read a good book, venture outdoors... or, of course, you can do what I did today: you could sleep in and not even put on real pants.

saturday face Even if I'm just knocking around the house, I still like to feel a little bit put together. Today, I managed to do that with just four products. I blended the Rimmel Stay Matte mousse foundation with a little bit of sunscreen to make my own lighter face base, warmed it up a little bit with my beloved Frat Boy blush by theBalm (even though it has seen better days...) and paired it with the Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Lemonade for an innocent light pink lip, then finished off the look with a coat or two of Benefit's They're Real! mascara.

And sadly, no matter how I try to emulate the pose of that girl on the cover of the book, I can no longer consider myself a college girl. But you can take a look at my five minute face post that I did if you'd like.

How did you spend your Saturday? I think a cup of coffee actually sounds like a good idea...

  2. Saturdays and Sundays are perfect for a long lay in or stay in my pajamas all day.... But I love the natural makeup look and you look really nice in that picture!
