Top 5 MUST HAVE Blushes!

Today is my 21st birthday! What better way to celebrate than to talk about my favorite blushes?

Blush is one of my absolutely favorite things. Adding a flush of color to the cheeks can really brighten up any makeup look! I used to only own one blush when starting my collection, but that was before my hoarding tendencies took hold. Since then, I've found that different colored blushes can achieve different looks. It's no surprise that I've built up quite the collection over the years!

So, I had a dig through my stash and came out the other end with my Top 5 MUST HAVE Blushes!

Did one of your favorites make the cut? Click through to find out!

After culling through my collection, these were the Top 5 Blushes that I deemed the best of my entire collection. They are, in no particular order:

Benefit's Coralista, Wet n Wild's Pearlescent Pink, TheBalm's Frat Boy, ELF Studio Blush in Pink Passion, and NYC's Blushable Creme Stick in Plaza Pink.

Benefit's Coralista is a beautiful coral shade with golden shimmer. This blush practically blends into my skin, so I don't use it for making a statement. Instead, I use it when I want to give my cheeks a subtle summer glow. With the golden shimmer mixed in, I don't even need a highlight!

Next is Wet N' Wild's Color Icon Blush in Pearlescent Pink. It's actually less of a pink and more of a warm, rosy color with subtle shimmer--much less than that of Coralista. This blush is great for daily use because it is neutral enough that it goes well with any look!

It looks more mauve here. Don't let that fool you! It is a nice, natural flush of pink.

If you're drooling over Pearlescent Pink but you're not a big fan of shimmer, then The Balm's Frat Boy is for you! This is my everyday blush. It complements my light-yet-yellow undertoned skin impeccably well and gives a beautiful, natural flush. This would work well for skin with any undertone!

I'd like to introduce you to the veteran of my makeup collection--the NYC Blushable Creme Stick in Plaza Pink. It's a nice, light peachy-pink with a minimal amount of subtle shimmer.

Remember a few years ago when Beauty Gurus and Bloggers alike raved about these limited-edition creme blushes? It was at the beginning of my descent into madness my obsession with beauty! I was inspired to get these by Emily of Beauty Broadcast from this video circa 2010. Though they were limited edition, you can still find them in the clearance bin of places like Dollar Tree or Rite Aid!

This little puppy has seen a lot of love.

This blush might not be as old as the last one, but it definitely has gotten a lot of use. This ELF Studio Blush  in Pink Passion is a vibrant, matte, cool-toned neon pink. Though it looks alarming in the pan, it's much sheerer on the face. I use it when I'm wearing warm-toned eye makeup or clothing in order to balance things out. I can't get enough of it!

Those are my top five blush picks! Can you vouch for any of my choices? What are yours?
