The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter is a new product I’ve been loving this month for makeup removal. The scent of the camomile is so relaxing, and the balm melts into a silky smooth oil to gently break down any makeup. Sometimes I still need a little more help with the waterproof mascara, but this does a fantastic job. Bonus points? It’s made with fair trade camomile.
Nothing shows excitement for springtime like a bright pink lip, and my weapon of choice is the Jordana Twist and Shine Balm Stain in Tropical Frenzy. It’s easy to wear because it’s a lip stain that wears like a moisturizing balm that can be layered on to intensify the color. It definitely makes a statement with its bright, blue-toned color.
Not feeling so bold? Another great option is the Almay Liquid Lip Balm in Blooming Balm. This light pink gloss gives the perfect wash of light pink to wake up your face after a long winter. What’s even better is that this moisturizes just as well as other lip balms. It isn't even sticky at all--in fact, it feels very light and natural on the lips.
To give a bit of a healthy glow to the skin, I've been using my Benefit Sun Beam. This shimmery, light chocolate colored cream works wonderfully blended into the cheeks under blush and on top of the forehead to give a bit of color to the face. It doesn't give off a significant "self tanner" look at all, as it is intended to be used as a highlight, but it does add a nice glow.
Finally, the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation has been a perfect base for me this month. The formula feels lighter than air on the skin, glides on smoothly, and blends in like a dream. This is definitely a low-effort face product, which is perfect for on-the-go girls like myself. It gives off medium coverage, so you still might want to use a good concealer for your problem areas. However, you'll want to make sure you top it off with a powder.
What did you love using in March?
